Google Redefines Mobile-Friendly

What’s at stake? Portent, a market-research firm, ran tests based on the new rules and found that, “40% of the leading sites failed Google’s ‘mobile-friendly’ test and may be down-ranked in search.”

Under the new mobile rules, Google will be giving preferential search rankings to sites optimized for mobile. Or, as Google said, “This test will analyze a URL and report if the page has a mobile-friendly design.” The change will affect mobile searches in all languages, Google says, and have a “significant impact on search results.”

Google defines “mobile friendly” as sites featuring readable text without zooming, content sized to a smartphone screen (no horizontal scrolling required), easy use of links and the absence of applications not customary in mobile like Flash. Sites not meeting this standard will likely fall in search rankings, although strong content will continue to be rewarded.

At this point, the rules relate to searches on smartphones, but it’s likely only a matter of time until tablets are added.

I was bored during a hard days work and decided to sit back and blog a little. I thought about the success on my last who I've worked with for 2 years she is no other than Rayzel Lam the owner of hcgchica.com.

I am Back - With Stronger SEO Strategies

2013 is a fruitful year for me and I thank the Lord our God for  these blessings in my life, also in gratitude for all the trials He has given me.

Prior to this post the last one was way back January of 2013 it's like 4 months has pass before I made up my mind to tend my blog. It's not because I'm down in ranking nor I am out of client in fact I'm still ranking #1 for 2 of my major keywords "Filipino SEO" and "Filipino SEO Specialist" for more than 8 consecutive months now! Without fluctuation even with any Google Algorithm updates "Panda and Penguin" in all those months that it rank #1. The other reason why it took me almost 4 months before I decided to write another blog is I'm too pre-occupied working full-time with my clients.

I am not sure if it's only me who has finally got a deeper and stronger understanding of my work or there is really a huge change in over all Search Engine Optimization this year. Wherein other traditional SEO approach and old link building strategies doesn't give that much effect as it does before (Still has but very little effects). I will have them listed here later on my next blog post for everyone to know what are those old link building strategies that only has little effects this year, I'm pretty sure you already know a few. In addition to it I will also include other SEO strategies/approaches that will greatly benefit a site/blog.

I say this blog has achieved greatly in accordance with its purpose but it's almost a year now since that strategy I used on this blog. Tho, my target keyword main purpose is not about traffic but mainly grab a possible client's attention which this blog has also succeeded on doing that.

I will now apply my newly acquired knowledge/skill on this blog. This means I'll be adding another purpose for this blog. One other purpose is to rank High competitive keywords and will also drive thousands of traffics on this blog.

I'm glad that I am back on this blog with an even stronger SEO Strategies and Campaigns. Keep in touch guys.

Google Panda 3.9 Aftermath

Last July 24, 2012 Google Panda Update 3.9 has been confirmed. I didn't notice that there was a Google update til I saw a post from Search Engineland Panda Update 3.9, not reading the date of the post I even posted in Forum that it was to be rolled that same night I posted there but I was a day late with the news.

Unknowingly that there was an update I already notice an increase in traffic on this blog, my excitement grew even more when I learned that there was a Google Panda Update. I am on the 1st page in just a week of doing Off-page SEO before the update I was at rank #7 to be exact. When the update came my rank when from #7 to rank #5 then the following day it went to #4 then just yesterday it was on rank #3 which makes me really happy that I have a working SEO Strategy, so I thought to aim the #1 position before July ends and increase my other keyword ranks.

I am On First Page in Just a Week

Since I have been working as a freelancer for various clients/contractors from different countries for more than 3 years now I decided to create my own blog. The first thing in my mind when I started this blog 3 months ago was to promote myself as a Filipino SEO and that's what I am doing now. Simply because it's quite hard to get a stable job as a freelancer so I gave myself a chance to be a blogger and try to earn from blogging.

I haven't published original post from this content except this post. I am a lazy writer! Literary I am! It all begun back at school where I just listen to my teachers lecture and photocopy everything that my classmate has written in her notebook. That's just to have a reference and for a review purposes. Who cares about that anyway.
